Feelings follow behaviour

June Khuzwayo             Smed 11
Feelings follow behaviour

The above topic is so true. Ofcourse it is normally the feelings first and then the behaviour. In a case of loving someone. First you feel within you that you are in love with someone, once those feelings have been felt and developed, they then move to the next level, whereby your behaviour changes, perhaps you start looking at the person that you are in love with in a different manner.

I normally describe feelings as a mystery, because sometimes you find that you cannot control your feelings and sometimes you have no geniun reason as to why you feel the way you feel towards certain things. As human we react differently its always good to control your feelings especially in critical situations, because the way you might be feeling at that moment it does not mean that the whole world is standing still and waiting for your reaction. Control your feelings if you have a worse situation so that everyone around you will understand and perhaps sympatise with you. Its no use shouting at everyone around you just because things are not going your way or you are having a bad day.

Feelings are controllable as well as behaviour, don't do or say something that you might regret tomorrow.

Everyday is a good day

June Khuzwayo                                                        Media Studies 3

Everyday is a good day

We should be greatful to each and every day that we are blessed with, cause tomorrow might never come. No matter how difficult the situation you are faced with remember the man above knows why he gave you that challenge. I remember when I lost my Mom, it felt like everything was standing still until her funeral. Through support and also realising that she will never come back I had to get a grip of myself.

Its important to be vibrant and happy everyday, because the world waits for no one. Everyday is supposed to be a good day, ofcourse it cannot be denied that there are those days whereby you curse everything around you. But still each and everyday is supposed to be a good day.

From today onwards I will try to look at each day as a blessing and make sure I have a good day regardless of all the challenges that we encounter in our daily lives.

Have yourself a suppa duppa day!!!

It is a poor idea to lie to yourself

It is a poor idea to lie to yourself

Indeed, it is a poor idea to lie to yourself. I guess a majority of people are guilty when it comes to the above statement. Lying to yourself is the worse decision one can ever make. I've seen people lying to themselves at work, people trying to convince themselves that they are capeable of doing certain things when in fact they don't have a clue. It is mostly sad especially when it comes to people at management position, when they cannot write a simple reports and they convince the fellow colleagues that they actually can.

I know of someone who cannot write a report and because his a manager he always deligate to someone that he knows will make him shine, its sad because he will never learn, will always be depending on this individual. I always ask myself as to what will happen if the report writter can decide to look for another job, who will do work or reports for this him.

For me the best solution is to come out clean, if you not sure as to how certain things are done, its crucial to say it as it is. It always helps, cause people will assist you freely and willingly, knowing very well that you are incapeable.

People must stop fooling themselves and come out clean. It helps, and its the best solution ever!!!

It is better to practice a little than talk a lot

It is better to practice a little than to talk a lot

So true, practicing a little than talking a lot is always a good idea but in most cases people tends to talk a lot and not practice at all. People don't practice what they preach. If you look around your work environment you'll find that most people are very creative verbally and they always have good ideas but when it comes to implementation it becomes a disaster or a flop.

Not only at work environment we experience the above challenges. Now that we are heading towards elections am certain you have personally witnessed the verbal promises by the politicians. After elections the promises will be forgotten. Some of the politicians will deliver what they are able, and they won't bother about certain promises that they can't reach even though we were verbally promised.

It cannot be denied that most people practice very little and talk alot. In most cases when people talks alot the practical part becomes minimal. Its important you practice what you preach.

Wedding Cake in the middle of the road

Wedding Cake in the middle of the road

Eish this is funny topic, but this is a scenario of my story: Sam and Kish have been planning for their wedding for the past two years, it was just a matter of two weeks before their big day. They decided to pay for their wedding arrangements well in advance. Before they could get married they felt that it was ideal for Kish to move in with Sam.

Sam was self employed and every morning he used to take his fiance to work and pick her up in the afternoon. One day Kish felt that she was gaining too much weight and she needed to exercise in order to keep healthy, she decided to leave work early and she took public transport back home. Kish didn't phone her fiance to alert him that she was coming home early, since he was working from home, she also had her own keys should he be not at home.

Kish was so excited that she was going to surprise her fiance by coming home early and assist him with house chores. Surprisingly when she open the front door it wasn't locked and and she knew she will find Sam working in their bedroom which was also converted into a study. Guess what Kish was surprised herself when she found Sam with the lady from next door in their bed, busy entertaining themselves. The moment  was so hot as a result Sam and the girlfriend didn't hear Kish coming in, they were caught right handed if you know what I mean.

Poor Kish she was so disappointed she didn't know how to handle the situation and she started wondering around in the house. Eventually Sam realised that they had company in the house, he jumped and he saw that is was Kish, he sat her down and made her understand of which she did, she became loving to her fience and he was convinced that all was well.

Came the day of the wedding, Kish decided to pick the wedding cake up on her way from the Salon. On her way back from collecting the cake she bumber into her fience's mistress everything just flashed back. She felt so much hatred for both of them and she knew she wasn't going to go through the wedding. She decided to leave the cake right there and walked straight and never looked back. She didn't honour her wedding and it was called off. That is how the wedding cake landed in the middle of the road.

I am

June Khuzwayo                                      Media Studies 3

I am

I am June Dudu Khuzwayo, born on 16 June 19**, in Durban. I am the eldest daughter of  Late Sipho and Late Joyce Ngcobo. I have only one sibling Mthobisi Ngcobo.
I was born in Durban, I completed my primary school at Roseneath Primary and matriculated at Strelitzia Secondary School.

I then studied for Public Relations Diploma with M L Sultan Technikon. I graduated and then enrolled for B Tech in Public Relations, I enrolled for five modules, I passed four and failed one which was a great achievement for myself. I got married in 2002, to my first lover. When I think about it today I still get butterflies, I must admit it feels good.

I relocated to Cape Town in 2004, and currently am working for Parliament at the International Relations Division. I am a Project Coordinator, my work entails coordinating events, workshop and meetings mainly for Members of Parliament. Coordinating reports for my Division is another core task.
I am a very kind hearted somebody and sometimes I feel that people takes advantage of my kindness. I also have the dark side that I don’t wish for people to see it, cause I don’t like it myself. My weakness is loving unconditionally but once a friend or someone that I love messes with me I just completely write them off, I don’t have a room for disappointment. My family is my first priority. I have been blessed with two beautiful girls. If you could have asked me ten years back “do you like having children” I would have answered you without any hasitation that I don’t want to have children but surprisingly the mentality has completely changed. I’ve tend to be very soft and very sympathetic and loving towards them. When ever they are in pains I feel it before them.

My family perceive me as a strong person who can handle anything difficulty, but the real truth is I am extremely fragile I can cry very easily, or should I say I’m very emotional. I am a go getter, failure is generally not in my vocab.

I hope to have my own business in the near future. I’ve been blessed by almost everything that I require and I thank God for that.
